Dear new and renew members of the White Stone Association for the cycle of Nov 2025 – Nov 2026! 
Many many thanks for supporting the work and life of Mount of Oaks, the animals, plants, trees and beings here and around us in 2025!!
For those who attended the AGM on Sunday, and those who beamed in on zoom – thank you for your input and presence. We were 27 adults and 3 kids in the Common Space and 7 online.
It was a meeting where we attempted to get through a full agenda as well as leave space for personal reflection and feedback. Of course there is never enough time to get into all the details and flavours of the year – but we did acknowledge the various highlights and the passing of great animal beings, Duma, Goofy, Gerry and Ginja and the arrival of Mitra, Jimmy and Faia – plus a bunch of ducks, chickens and new geese!!

Introductions and Welcome to new associates – 15 new beings and 50 renewed people so far in the year.
Elections of the board for 2025-2028 – many thanks to Sr Aquiles Pinto and Silva Gasper for your attention 2022-2025 on the boards of Assembly and Finance. The below people were voted onto the board unanimously.

What happened over the course of the last cycle? Activity review and reports from those involved in the various projects.
BREAK
After the break we began with a conversation about the responses during the summer fires in the area and the work post-fire on various farms. 3 associates shared about their direct experience of the fires on their farms. Following this we also had an open time to share about the proposed ‘green energy’ plans for the bioregion and the environmental assessments and local campaigning.
Looking forward – ideas for 2026 – Francisco arriving as New Guardian of the land. Barbara and Emma taking time from Spring 2026 to connect with projects and people beyond the local landscape
Exploring more opportunities for Nina to expand work with Tilia and associates and other interested groups
Inviting interested beings to come for periods of time to support Francisco and the management and care of Mount of Oaks while Barbara and Emma are travelling.
On closing the meeting we ate a hearty soup and yummy bread, cheese and olives. For those who remained into the dark hours we gathered around the fire pit and joined Jamie’s guitar playing with some singing!
